Updates from the Youth Group

Hello North Central youth members!

Mary Leonhart here to share some news with you!

The survey results that the youth members filled out at the first show are as follows;

We had 3) 13 & under contestants, 8) 14 - 18, 2) Green as Grass, 3) Rookie, and 7) Ltd. Non- Pro's.

There were 10 votes for Country music as favorites, with 2 for rap/hip hop, and 1 each for rock, oldies & everything.

Favorite foods were all over the place, with everything from chocolate to sushi, and venison to ice cream!

We have 6 members in the choir and 6 that play instruments, such as; the cello, violin, piano, saxaphone, and guitar.

Many of you like other sports as well; such as; volleyball, golf, hockey, basketball, cross country, bad mitten, tennis & softball.

10 like clinics, with 2 not preferring them.

The number one thing to do for fun was to ride! the 2nd was to "hang out", and the 3rd was to trail ride.

The fun ideas category was interestingly lead by the "Pizza Party" .......which no one happened to list as their favorite food.....hhhmmmmmm......... what's up with that?!! It was followed by card games, bowling, football game & Ice Cream social.

8 want to have officers for the club, with 4 preferring not to.

Our next horse show is fast approaching, it is only a one day show, and so fitting in a fund raiser @ this event will take some team work!

We could each bring a box of "Freezies" that we can graciously donate (or ask the wonderful parents) then sell in the afternoon; or we can try and co ordinate some root beer floats to sell..........we need help though, perhaps someone who is not showing in every other class *(like Alie & I are) can offer some assistance?......
